Me, my tribe and this blog

I’m Clare. I’m a passionate foodie, an obsessive photographer and a collector of lovely things.

I live in rural Nottinghamshire and we love our country lifestyle almost as much as we love to cook, eat and share food with friends (although if I don’t hit the big city every now and again I do start to lose my mind!)

My fantastic kids are 6, 10, and 12-going-on-21. As a result, we are battling tween hormones, the crazy and relentless energy of a 10 year old boy and a six year old wild child who is desperate to outclass them at every turn. My kids are crazy, brilliant, fascinating and infuriating. They push me to embrace adventure and make me laugh most of the day. They are the reason I get out of bed in the morning to do what I do and the reason I pass out in a heap on the sofa at night.

My Superpower and how it can help you!

As a tribe, we smile and laugh, even when the chips are down and find adventure everywhere. We love growing our own food and flowers and making the most of the countryside and sea air.

I get a huge buzz from turning the everyday into the fabulous, creating amazing meals from simple ingredients and throwing awesome parties (even if I do say so myself) with little more than my magic wand and a healthy dose of creativity.

When I’m not making something delicious you can bet I’m photographing it! Join us on our adventures in food, life and photography!
